The Traffic Club of Pittsburgh is an organization of professionals having a common
interest in issues facing transportation users and providers. Membership is open
to all individuals whose interests and responsibilities relate to the
disciplines of transportation or logistics planning, marketing, management,
sales, operations, information technologies, research teaching, regulation,
government and related fields. Club members believe that their organization
promotes a better understanding of problems and solutions affecting the movement
of passengers and freight in today's rapidly changing marketplaces.
The Club organizes educational, social and
recreational events during the year and emphasizes its commitment to the
transportation community through its annual award of merit-based college
scholarships to students who have designated transportation, logistics, supply
chain management or a related field as their major field of interest. The
scholarships awarded in March of each year at the club's Annual Dinner, an event
which enjoys a rich tradition of excellence and attracts business leaders from
points across North America.
